In April 2014, Ben Jurin Architecture Ltd were commissioned to proceed with designing a replacement Girlguiding Regional HQ in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire.
Our vision is to create a unique Girlguiding Centre that is multi use, sustainable, highly energy efficient and inspirational.
In order to achieve our dream, we have to adopt a forward thinking approach and implement certain modern technologies.
Our new building has been designed with a fundamental focus on sustainability.
With the implementation of sustainable construction and modern technologies, our aim is for the completed centre to achieve a BREEAM* rating of “Outstanding”.
Less than the top 1% of UK new non-domestic buildings achieve the coveted outstanding rating. And as there are no other Girlguiding centres with this rating,  this would make our building truly unique in its class.
The building work has commenced, however in order to complete our vision, the trustees of the Girlguiding charity require donations.
As such, we have set up this website page in order to help interested parties understand how special and unique our project will be.
