Fishery Design
Longridge, Preston
In June 2009, Ben Jurin Architecture Ltd were recommended by a previous client to a local business of whom is a keen fisherman and wanted to make use of a 3 acre plot of land he had recently acquired.

After undertaking an initial consultation we were commissioned to the project and given a verbal brief which was simple; - gain outline planning permission for a new fishery on the aformentioned greenfield site in Longridge, Preston.

After consulting Preston Council Planning Department and with their informal advice taken on board, we produced a number of scheme design's for our client to choose a final design.

The final chosen design which includes a lake and sunken fisherman's shelter with parking was submitted for outline planning permission along with a design and access statement and other similar documents, and in September 2009 Outline Planning Permission was granted much to our client's delight.
